slowly disappearing

this sorts of clears me of having any delusion. i bought this pair of jeans in december. at that time, i could never pull it up pass my knees. today i was walking around town in it; properly worn of course. that's 8 inches off the waist. give or take 24 off the weighing scale.

who would've thought

i am involved with sandakan palestine liberation initiative roadshow. escorting a prominent local (malaysian) figure around sandakan giving talks about palestinian occupation and the siege of gaza and al aqsa. today i've been to places i otherwise wouldn't have gone and met people with life stories that inspire.

in support of the environment and my pocket

all these while i've been buying bottled water. that's because the tap water in my old house was nasty. water from the new house is ok. so i'm boiling water now. these glass jugs cost 2 weeks worth of water. we'll see if this is sustainable.
