Goodness Gracious Me!!

My last post was on the 26th of July??!!! That's a new record!

A quick update. Things are going OK. I had just started my final semester (again) in Batu Pahat earlier in September. It's the end of the fourth week and I'm enjoying it.

Batu Pahat is still the same. The worst drivers are still here.

Currently I'm in the paediatric ward. Dengue is on the rise. Dengue haemorrhagic fever (denggi berdarah) is an everyday scene. Please take care. Use mosquito repellent, mosquito net or the best is avoid being outdoor between 5am-7am and 5pm-7pm.

My new group rocks! One girl was told she has to present a case for discussion the next morning - which was mere hours from the time she was informed - and replied "I'll see what I can do." I was dumbfounded. My jaw fell onto the ground and it rolled sideways falling into the longkang.

The answer you can expect when one is asked to present case discussion would normally be draggy phrases like "Whaaaaaaaaaaaat??? Me????? Againnnn?? Whyyyyyyyyyy???"

Not this time. And it got me revved up. High gear, baby!

And puasa this year has been great. I'm actually losing weight! Well the fact that MARA is no longer sponsoring this semester contributes to that. Ikat perut beb. Tuesdays and Thursdays are normally 'buy nothing' day. So korek la maggi, telur, baked beans, malt drink, ceklat and gula-gula tersembunyi yang telah ditinggalkan oleh penghuni-penghuni terdahulu.
